General 

In business since 1967, ATCO is the premier supplier of mobile air conditioning components for the OEM specialty and replacement parts markets. 

Located in north Texas, with two manufacturing facilities in Ferris and Ennis (along Interstate 45 just south of Dallas), ATCO has manufacturing and warehouse space of over 115,000 square feet.  ATCO’s staff includes approximately 150 full time employees covering engineering, manufacturing, quality management, accounting, customer service, sales, and IT functions for a full-service approach to customers. 

The Ennis Plant is dedicated to the OEM market and has been certified to ISO9002 and the automotive industry’s stringent QS-9000 quality management standard since March 1998. 

ATCO specializes in the design and manufacture of A/C fittings and hose coupling systems that meet and exceed the highest quality coupling integrity standards such as SAE J2064 and Delphi’s SD2-254.   
 

ATCO Products, Inc. is a privately owned company. Our parent company is ETX Holdings, Inc. which purchased the Jordan Automotive Aftermarket, Inc. group of companies from Jordan Industries, Inc. in December 2006. Sister companies held by ETX Holdings, Inc. include Alma Products Company of Alma, MI (automotive A/C compressors and torque converters for transmissions) and DACCO, Inc. of Cookeville, TN (aftermarket torque converters and soft parts for transmissions).

The majority shareholder of ETX Holdings, Inc. is Edgewater Growth Capital Partners II, LLP of Chicago, IL.

Marketing

ATCO’s products reach the marketplace through one of two channels:   
ATCO brand, Factory-direct customers

This channel is primarily for the OE Specialty A/C market and worldwide export of hose end fittings and crimpers.  It includes the new Air-O-Crimp® line of fittings and A/C hose targeted for bus and RV air conditioning systems.  It also includes custom receiver driers, accumulators, hose assemblies and tube hardlines. 

APCOAir brand, Nationwide Sales Rep Network

This channel services the automotive passenger car and light truck market in North America for compressors, receiver driers, accumulators, hose assemblies, and thermal expansion devices.  This program is offered in conjunction with our sister company, Alma Products.
